REGISTRATIONS FOR THE MARSDEN YEAR 7-8 DANCE HAVE NOW CLOSED

DATE: Friday 25 August 2023

VENUE: Cultural Centre, Marsden House, Marsden School, Karori, Wellington

TIME: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

TICKETS: $15 per person (entry includes refreshments). After completing our registration form, you will be directed to a secure payment gateway. Please have your credit card handy.  Ticket sales close at 3:30pm on Thursday 24 August 2023.

ENTRY: By invitation only. Boys from Wellesley and Karori Normal welcome.

DRESS: Smart casual

TERMS & CONDITIONS: Please read carefully
 

• Doors will be open from 7pm-7:15pm. There will be no late entry after this time.
• The student's name will be on a list at the door.
• If a student whose name is on the list does not attend, parents will be contacted (unless the school has been informed of non-attendance in advance).
• Students must respect event organisers and abide by the dance rules.
• For health and safety reasons, students will not be allowed to dance in bare feet.
• No smoking, vaping, alcohol, drugs or pass outs.
• Phones, coats, jackets and bags are to be checked in at the coat check and will only be available at the end of the evening. 
• The school takes no responsibility for valuable items brought to the dance.
• Security will be undertaken by parents and staff.
• The school reserves the right to refuse entry if there is a breach of any rule and will request that guests leave if they cause a problem. If this occurs, we will call the nominated parent and request that they collect their daughter/son, as we are unable to leave the venue. Any person who is excluded from the event is to be released into the care of a parent or adult caregiver. No refund will be given.
• Leaving the venue is not permitted until the dance ends at 9:00pm unless prior arrangements have been made with the Dean. If a student insists on leaving, parents will be called and they will take responsibility for their safety. 
• Anyone leaving before the dance finishes will not be readmitted.
• No social media posts are to be made during the dance.
• Any requests for refunds for non-attendance will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will only be given in exceptional circumstances.
