Guide to New Zealand Universities

Students considering attending university when they leave school should visit this website  It has many links to more information about the universities on offer in New Zealand and a flow chart about the process, including a timeline.

This link will take you to the online version of the  ‘Thinking About University’ resource which has all the undergraduate degrees available in NZ listed. I highly recommend this resource as an easy way of seeing the subjects and courses offered.

Course Planning for Year 13

The following universities will be coming to school during lunchtime in Term 1 to introduce their university. See the key dates  for when this will be. The major universities come again in Term 3 to help Year 13  with planning their first year university course. The Term 1 visits are designed to showcase the degrees and facilities they offer and the Term 3 visits are to answer your questions about how to choose courses for your first year at university, as well as answering any queries about admission and accommodation. Sessions will be held in MH6 at lunchtime.

Students can also  ask questions or arrange an online meeting with the liaison officers from other universities by email.
