International Women's Day Breakfast
Friday, 8 March 2024
Our Principal Paula Wells, joined by two of our senior students, attended a special breakfast event at Parliament held by the Zonta Club of Wellington to celebrate Internatonal Women's Day.

Emily is our 2024 Head Girl and Davida had the honour of hearing her mother, Dame Miranda Harcourt, deliver a powerful keynote address alongside Hon Louise Upston, Acting Minister for Women, Dame Farah Palmer, Pou Akonga (Executive Director) Māori Student Success, Massey University, Deputy Chair of New Zealand Rugby and former captain of the Black Ferns, and Chloe and Florence Van Dyke, co-founders of Chia Sisters.

Together, they immersed themselves in a gathering of inspiring women dedicated to forging a more inclusive world for all.

Meanwhile, back at school, we hosted a special breakfast for our Year 12 and 13 students in the Cultural Centre, while we simultaneously live-streamed the inspiring Zonta breakfast held at Parliament.

Let's continue championing equality and embracing the strength that comes from unity!
