Junior House Drama

Well done to all students who performed in House Drama yesterday afternoon. This year’s theme, created by Heads of Drama Louisa and Arushi, was to take a Disney movie and give it a feminist twist, along with using a pre-determined line. Year 9 leaders had to devise and write their scripts and then cast and rehearse their plays over 6 weeks. The winners were Richmond, whose interpretation of Cinderella included the line “Fairy Godmother, I don’t want to dress up to impress a man. I want to look nice for myself!” Baber came in second, with The Princess and the Frog and Jellicoe third, performing Beauty and the Beast.
