Preschool trip to Parliament

Preschool tamariki were very excited about their trip to Parliament and the Beehive this week. After MP Grant Robertson's visit last week, we were interested to see the green carpet and 'yes' and 'no' doors. We learnt about how different laws or rules are made for New Zealand, and then rode in an extremely 'old' lift to watch the MPs debating in their chamber. We were super quiet! It was then time to have morning tea and a quick play on the Parliament slide before hopping back on the bus to return to Preschool.
