Jellicoe win 2023 House Music

What an amazing House Music competition yesterday. Every house performed the waiata 'Whakataka te Hau' - the same song, all different arrangements, and all beautifully performed. They followed this up with their chosen piece, a fabulous collection of oldies but goodies! And staff even got in on the act with a great Marsdenised version of Mama Mia! It was such a feel-good afternoon. Many thanks to our adjudicator Shawn Condon who had the difficult task of choosing, but there can be only one! Huge congratulations to our 2023 House Music Champions, Jellicoe; runners-up were Hadfield Beere, and Richmond came third. See photos on our Facebook page. |
