| Congratulations to Joyce Chan Y13, whose piano trio, Czerny’s Attorneys, received the Joan Kerr National Third Place Award in the NZCT Chamber Music finals in Christchurch on 5 August. Close to 1200 instrumentalists, 320 ensembles competed in eliminations for a chance to be one of the top 8 ensembles to perform at this prestigious event. The trio pictured with their coach, Nicole Chao, are Joyce, Rebekah Lin (St Mary’s College) and Francesca Rotolo (Wellington High School) played 'Variations brillantes op.295 by Carl Czerny'. |
