Debating Semi Finals

| Both our Premier A and Premier B debating teams reached the semi-finals of the Wellington regional competition this year. Prem B won their debate on Tuesday night, with the moot 'This House would limit the private ownership of cultural and historical art not from the culture', Congratulations to Valerie, Ashley and Charlotte on this fantastic achievement. Premier A lost to St Mary's in a split decision, with the moot 'This House believes that televised debates between the leaders of major parties before a general election do more harm than good', with Arushi, Chloe and Caroline as our speakers. Thank you to their coaches Jack and Sarena for their guidance and support. |
