Our Year 9 students visited Parliament on Monday as part of their Social Sciences "Making Change" unit. This annual trip brings their learning to life as they explore how laws are made, how different types of government operate, and how citizens can influence change through petitions and protest. 

A highlight this year was the rare opportunity to step into the Debating Chamber, something not every visit includes! Students also staged a mock media interview in the Parliamentary theatrette, further developing their understanding of civic processes. The experience remains a powerful way to connect classroom learning with the real world of politics.
