Congratulations to Isabella, Akshara and Abigail, who performed for the first time with the New Zealand Secondary Students' Choir (NZSSC) 2025/26 during the school holidays. 

Students from across Aotearoa come together each holiday break as the choir prepares for an international tour in July 2026. Marsden is proud to be one of only a few schools with three students selected for this prestigious national choir. 

Adding to the occasion, Marsden singing teacher Barbara Paterson was invited to be the guest vocal coach for the choir's first training week — a wonderful recognition of her talent and expertise.
