Two Marsden teams took part in the Wellington Regional Debating Competition last weekend, gaining valuable experience and achieving some great results. 

Our senior team secured two wins, while our junior team won one of their debates. The competition provided an excellent opportunity for students to refine their debating skills, receive immediate feedback, and put it into practice in the next round. 

They found this approach helped them absorb and apply feedback effectively, leading to noticeable improvement in a short time. Beyond the debates themselves, our students enjoyed meeting competitors from other schools and observing different debating styles in action.
