Today, the Maritime Police visited Marsden, much to the delight of our Preschool, Year 1, and Year 11 students. With Preschool focusing on water inquiry this term, it was a fantastic opportunity to learn about water safety, police equipment, and emergency response. Year 11 students attended as part of their career pathways exploration. Senior students interested in a future career with the police were invited to hear from Constable Steph, who was organised by Constable Nicko. This gave them valuable insight into policing as a profession and the different career opportunities available. Constable Nicko, a Preschool parent, and Constable Steph answered plenty of curious questions from students, while the highlight for many was seeing the police boat up close. Teacher aide Enzo even got to try out some of the equipment and experience how it all worked! A huge thank you to the Maritime Police for an engaging and interactive visit! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
