Old Girls' Day 2024 and Hall of Fame Laureates announced
Friday, 25 October 2024

On Friday 25 October, we welcomed back alumnae for our annual Old Girls' Day, celebrating those who were in Year 10 during a year ending in '4'.

The event began with communion in the chapel, followed by an All Saints' Day Service, where Old Girls were welcomed with a haka pōwhiri. The assembly featured school hymns, performances by the orchestra and Altissime, and the ringing of handbells—a nostalgic touch for our returning alumnae.

During the assembly, Alexis Tzeng (Year 8) received the Old Girls' Scholarship, and Christina He (Year 7) was awarded the Nell Clere Music Scholarship, impressing the audience with a piano performance.

A highlight of the day was the Hall of Fame inductions, honouring:

Bronwen Golder (Class of 1978) – Conservationist dedicated to marine protection

Amelia Evans (Class of 2002) – Human rights lawyer and co-founder of MSI Integrity

Jessie Wong (Class of 2011) – Entrepreneur and founder of fashion brand Yu Mei

We were proud to celebrate these remarkable women and the lasting connections within our Marsden community.
