Tuesday, 4 February 2025

Marsden Old Girls Davida McKenzie (Class of 2024) has teamed up with her sister, acclaimed actress Thomasin McKenzie (Class of 2018), to create a new short film, The Lights That Cannot Be Dimmed.

The film explores themes of family and resilience, drawing inspiration from their grandmother's experiences. With Davida as the writer and director and Thomasin taking on the lead role, this collaboration brings together their talents in storytelling and performance. Having already made an impact in the New Zealand International Film Festival with her film The Speedway Murders, Davida continues to make waves in the industry.

We can't wait to see what's next for these talented Marsden Old Girls!
