Marsden Old Girls' Association recently hosted two wonderful events in Auckland, bringing together alumnae of all ages. On Friday, 6th September, there was a lively evening gathering at Darling on Drake in Central Auckland, where guests enjoyed drinks and canapés. The following day, Saturday, 7th September, a more relaxed luncheon was held in the library at King's School in Remuera. Both events provided a fantastic opportunity for Old Girls to reconnect, network, and share stories of their time at Marsden and their lives since. With around 40 attendees, it was heartening to see such a broad range of year groups represented, from alumnae who attended Marsden in 1941 all the way through to more recent graduates of 2019. Principal Paula Wells was delighted to meet many Auckland-based Old Girls and was joined by past Principals Gillian Eadie and Judi Pappe, who also enjoyed the luncheon. A special thank you goes to Carolyn Prebble and Emma Crowley for their efforts in organising and supporting these memorable events, as well as to the venues for their warm hospitality.
