We warmly invite you to our upcoming Community Conversation: PR1ME Mathematics in the classroom. Join us for an informative and engaging evening with Annabeth Evans, PR1ME Consultant at Scholastic.

Event Details:

Date: Monday 11 August 2025
Time: 6.00pm–7.00pm
Venue: Primary Library, Marsden School

In Marsden Primary, we proudly use PR1ME Mathematics, a world-class programme inspired by the teaching approaches of top-performing countries like Singapore. PR1ME focuses on problem-solving, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding through a structured and progressive model that moves from hands-on learning to visual models and abstract concepts.  Each lesson includes warm-ups, guided and independent practice, and targeted support, helping students build confidence, accuracy, and flexible thinking in mathematics.

During the session, Annabeth will share insights into:
• The CPA approach (Concrete - Pictorial - Abstract)
• The "I do, we do, you do" model (Mathematical discourse and fluency)
• MATH PRO tools and strategies

This is a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of how mathematics is taught at Marsden Primary and how you can support your child's learning journey.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Parking: There is limited parking in the school grounds. We kindly request that you park on Marsden Avenue or Vera Street.
