A Night of Music and Talent at Marsden's Showcase Concert
Thursday, 12 June 2025

Marsden School Auditorium was filled with music, energy, and applause on the evening of Wednesday 11 June as students, staff, and families gathered for the annual Showcase Concert.

The event, hosted by Heads of Music Aubane and Ari, was a highlight of Marsden's Performing Arts Week, celebrating the wide range of musical opportunities available at the school. From classical ensembles to contemporary bands, jazz groups, choirs, and more, the concert featured an impressive lineup of performances that reflected the diversity of student talent and musical expression at Marsden.

For some student groups, the Showcase Concert is their only opportunity to perform live during the year, making the evening especially meaningful for both performers and audience members. The passion, commitment, and hours of practice were evident in every piece, with students from across the school demonstrating their skills on stage.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all the Year 12 and 13 musicians whose leadership and dedication continue to inspire younger students, and to the dedicated music teachers who guide and support the many groups and ensembles at Marsden. Your contribution is deeply appreciated by the whole school community.

The Showcase Concert was not only a celebration of musical excellence but also a testament to the collaborative spirit and creative energy that defines Marsden's performing arts programme.
