Register now for the MARSDEN YEAR 11 DANCE

VENUE: Cultural Centre, Marsden House, Samuel Marsden Collegiate School

TIME: 7.30pm-9.30pm

TICKET: $30.00 per ticket (includes entry plus refreshments and photo booth). After completing our registration form, you will be directed to a secure payment gateway. If you pay by credit card, please note that service charges will apply.

ENTRY: By invitation only. Marsden students are welcome to buy tickets for up to two guests. However, no student below Year 11 is permitted to attend.

DRESS: Semi Formal; elegant and dressy; good shirt with collar and dress trousers. NO bags other than small evening bags are to be brought to the venue.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Please read carefully

• The dance starts at 7.30pm and doors close promptly at 7.45pm Latecomers will not be admitted.
• The student's name (and the name/s of their guest/s) will be on a list at the venue.
• There will be NO door sales.
• If a student whose name is on the list does not attend, parents will be contacted (unless the Dean has been informed of non-attendance in advance).
• Students must respect event organisers and abide by the dance rules.
• For health and safety reasons, students will not be allowed to dance in bare feet.
• No smoking, vaping, alcohol, drugs or pass outs.
• If students wish to take evening bags into the dance, a check will be made of the contents.
• Any drugs, alcohol, vapes or cigarettes found will be confiscated and not returned.
• Coats and jackets are to be checked in at the coat check and will only be available at the end of the evening.
• The school takes no responsibility for valuable items brought into the venue.
• Security will be undertaken by staff.
• If a student appears intoxicated, the school reserves the right to breathalyse that student.
• The school reserves the right to refuse entry if there is a breach of any rule and will request that guests leave if they cause a problem. If this occurs, we will call the nominated parent and request that they collect their daughter and/or their guest/s, as we are unable to leave the venue. Any person who is excluded from the event is to be released into the care of a parent or adult caregiver. No refund will be given.
• Leaving the venue is not permitted before 9.00pm unless prior arrangements have been made with the Dean.
• No social media posts are to be made during the dance.
• As this is a school event, any photos deemed inappropriate by the photographer or the Dean will NOT be made available to students.
• Your child and their guest/s must be collected from the Cultural Centre after the dance OR you must indicate on the registration form that your child can leave independently with appropriate arrangements made.
• Any requests for refunds for non-attendance will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will only be given in exceptional circumstances.
