Join us in celebrating our 2025 Leavers at the Marsden Leavers' Ball

The 2025 Marsden Leavers' Ball is going to be a stunning evening, held at The Great Hall on Saturday 6 December. This is a black-tie event commencing at 6.30pm with a Cocktail Party followed by the presentation of each Leaver to the Bishop of Wellington (or proxy), a three-course seated dinner and dancing to a live band.

Planning is well underway for this fabulous occasion, and we are now asking families to indicate how many additional Ball tickets they would like. All families have already been allocated and paid for four Ball tickets. As the pinnacle event celebrating the Leavers' school years, many families wish to share this occasion, and additional friends or family members are welcome to attend. Even if you are not purchasing additional tickets you still need to RSVP for the four tickets you have already been allocated.

We encourage younger family members to attend the Cocktail Party rather than the Ball. We would like to remind families that younger Marsden siblings are only allowed to attend the Cocktail Party and not the Ball.

Ticket Information

The Ball ticket includes pre-dinner drinks and canapés, viewing of the presentation of the Leavers, a seated dinner and live music. NB: Drinks during or after the dinner are not included in the ticket price but can be purchased at the bar. Tickets are available to the Leavers, their partners, whānau and family friends. Maximum 10 people at a table. Our official photographers will record highlights from the evening and photos will be available for download so you can keep your memories of this special event. Ball Tickets are $287.50 (incl GST) per person.

The Cocktail Party/Viewing ticket is for other whānau and friends who are not attending the full event. The Cocktail Party ticket includes pre-dinner drinks and canapés, plus access to a reserved seating area at the venue to view the formal presentation of Leavers and pre-dinner formal dance. Cocktail Tickets are $75 (incl GST) per person.

TICKETS: Physical tickets will not be issued. You will be emailed Presentation details in late November and this information will also be held by event organisers at the venue on the night.
