We are excited to invite new and current students of Māori and Pacific descent to
Marsden's inaugural Māori and Pacific Fiafia Day.
This new initiative is a partnership between the school and our Māori and Pacific parent community.
Drawing from the process of whakawhanaungatanga, we have designed a day that offers new and current Māori and Pacific students the opportunity to create strong bonds and relationships ahead of the new academic year. During the day, you’ll hear from our Māori and Pacific student leaders; meet teaching and support staff; and learn about the various offerings available to support you on your journey.
The Māori and Pacific Fiafia Day will be held on Friday 2nd February 2024, 9am – 3pm.
Please RSVP by Friday 19 January if you would like to attend.
Further details including a programme for the day will be sent out closer to the date.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Dianne Smith, Head of Middle School and Hauora Lead.
